Behind the Moon
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a pencil in hand. I was the friend you’d come to if you wanted a sketch of your favorite cartoon character, and as a teenager I could spend hours drawing the heroines of the comic W.I.T.C.H with my best friends. Later, my path led me into the world of design, working with fashion houses on lookbooks, invitations, and social media — a place where I discovered the beauty of layout and storytelling through typography and image.
But what I love most about creating has never changed: how a drawing can open a door into another world — magical, tender, sometimes a little witchy — and take you with it.
My work is often an ode to nature and the wild — flowers that bend with grace, plants that twist and bloom, the mysteries of forests and skies. I draw inspiration from the books I read (from Alice Hoffman’s enchanted stories to Patti Smith’s raw poetry), and from the quiet details of everyday life that hold their own kind of magic.
Today, I work part-time as an in-house graphic designer, but my true playground is here — in the illustrations, stories, and small creations I make in the in-between hours. I imagine them for dreamers and book lovers, for those who keep souvenirs tucked in notebooks, for mothers and children who delight in small adventures, and for anyone who still believes in the spark of wonder.
Motherhood has deepened this vision. I no longer draw just to draw, but to create things that can be lived with — a t-shirt my children can wear, a DIY kit that becomes a gateway into imagination. I believe that even a simple piece of paper, when paired with creativity, can transform a day into something magical.
More than anything, I hope my work leaves you with a little spark of joy, like a childhood memory resurfacing — la petite madeleine de Proust.
